It's magnificent. It's bananas. It's everything I've always wanted in a romance. I loved every moment of The Virgin and the Rogue, from the outrageous sexy times to tender moments of understanding to the raw confrontation of feelings Charlotte and Kingston would rather ignore.

First Comes Scandal
Like many other Julia Quinn fans, I'd been eagerly awaiting the release of First Comes Scandal for nearly a year and a half before it came out. I was lucky enough to be approved for an ARC, so I actually received it in March and was SO excited! Unfortunately, this one just didn't blow me away.
Beautiful and Dirty
This is a very short novella that serves as an introduction to Katrina Jackson's new series, The Family. I can't say Beautiful & Dirty is short and sweet, but it IS short and sexy.
Say Yes to the Duke
There were parts of this that worked for me and parts that didn't. I really enjoyed the banter between Viola and Devin. They had some very sweet moments and some very hot moments. While Viola's character seemed fully formed - although her anxiety does seem to just disappear at some point in the book - I felt like we were pieces missing from Devin.
The Worst Best Man
I'd heard great things about The Worst Best Man from Romancelandia before I started reading, so I went into it fully expecting to enjoy it. What I wasn't expecting was that I'd have a shit-eating grin plastered on my face the entire time! Mia Sosa had me laughing out loud and falling in love at the same time. It ended up being the perfect book to read during this time.
An Heiress to Remember
Big. Boss Lady. Energy. Sixteen years ago Beatrice Goodwin made the decision to follow her family and society's expectations and marry a Duke instead of following her heart and running away with Wes Dalton. Now divorced, Beatrice is back in New York with the family and business she loves - Goodwin's Department Store. But Goodwin's isn't the booming business it once was and her brother's decided to sell. And the man who's going to buy is none other than Wes Dalton himself. Beatrice isn't going to let go of Goodwin's without a fight, and soon Dalton realizes that the only thing he wants to win is her heart.
In Bed with the Earl
In Bed with the Earl features a bad-ass heroine who isn't afraid to fight for what she wants and a surly hero who'd rather brood and spend time in his sewers than face his past and "take his place" in society. They fight, they kiss, they fight some more...and then some more, and then they fall in love!
Love Hard
This was my first Nalini Singh and it definitely won't be my last! I loved the dynamic between Jake and Juliet - even as they sniped at each other, the underlying currents of attraction - and, yes, care - are there from the start.
The Bad Luck Bride
I enjoyed The Bad Luck Bride, but had trouble getting invested in the MC's until about halfway through. The second half of the book was much more enjoyable - that's when you really start to understand what motivates Claire and Alex and start rooting for them.
How the Lady Was Won
Dear old Colin Can't-Even-Say-Love FitzRoy. You knew when he fell he was going to fall hard, and that it would be absolutely delicious. (It is.) How convenient that the woman he falls in love with is already his wife!
